just a few images we took to remember our first fall as a family of three.

people assume that because i am a photographer, i must take pictures of charlotte all.the.time. the truth is, i’m just like everybody else. i rarely bring out the “nice” camera, and most of my pictures of her are taken on my iphone. and i like it that way. but there are times when i know for certain that i’m going to want to remember this. our first fall as a family of three is one of them. when i was pregnant, it was one of things i was truly excited about. it’s my favorite time of the year, and my husband is reminded of this everyday while i force homemade applesauce, pumpkin spice lattes and chili down his throat. and while he doesn’t quite understand the obsession, he is happy to play along. truthfully, i think he secretly loves it just as much as i do.

we headed out to Cox Farms (we go every year) with my mom, and had a little bit of fun doing the completely typical, cliche pumpkin patch pictures that every new mom does with their baby. these make me smile :)
