For us, it’s the experiences, the travel, the connections, and the iconic fashion of weddings that we love. This blog is our inside edit of all those things and more.

Meet our New Associate Photographer, Christina!

Christina has been with the studio for a few years now, and is an integral part of the AP team! She is such a talented photographer shooting weddings all over the DC / MD/ VA area and I am so excited for brides to continue to experience her kindness, passion and talent for wedding photography. As a fun way to get to know her, here are a few fun Q + A’s that I thought I’d share!

Coffee or Tea?

Earl grey tea with two sugars please! And I love a good chocolate chip scone with my tea. :)

Morning person or Night Owl?

I am most definitely a morning person! I love getting up with the sun and being super productive in the mornings, that way I feel like I deserve a nice 30 minute nap in the afternoons.

You are stranded on a deserted island and can only eat one thing for the rest of your life…what is it?!

Chicken parmesan with spaghetti and a gooey chocolate chip cookie for dessert!

When not shooting, what do you do for fun or to relax?

If I’m not photographing, you can usually find me in the kitchen trying out new recipes or baking for friends and family. I love sharing my love with others through food! I’m also an avid cyclist and being outside on my bike, enjoying the weather and sites of DC is my happy place.

What is your #1 place to travel to on the bucket list?

New Zealand, for sure!

What is your style/favorite place to go shopping?

I would call myself casually elegant. I’m all about comfort but looking put together at the same time- I think thats why I love J. Crew so much!

What is your favorite part of the wedding day to shoot?

I absolutely love shooting first looks and taking couple photos of the bride and groom! That moment when the groom sees his lady for the first time all dressed up is always so emotional and special!

For people visiting DC for the first time, what is the #1 thing they have to do while visiting?

I think seeing DC by bike is one of the best ways to see the city! Checking out the Mall, the Tidal Basin, 14th Street and Shaw neighborhoods on two wheels is super fun and convenient. While on 14th street, they should go to Dolcezza and eat some delicious gelato too! :)
