a few weeks ago i posted on facebook:

“my husband, mr. taye diggs, is cheating on me.”

unfortunately, this comment caused quite the reaction from my mom’s family and friends. you see, we had a small wedding, and because of this many of them don’t know who my husband is, what he looks like, or what his name is. add on top of this, that they also don’t know (gasp) who taye diggs is. so when i post a comment like “my husband is cheating on me”….well…next thing you know, my mom is getting emails and even phone calls from friends and family, old co-workers, current co-workers, friends in florida, family incolombia…etc…with messages along the lines of…

“we are sorry to hear about your daughter”

“we wanted to show our concern”

“we said a prayer for your daughter in our prayer group”…..

oops :)

so. to clarify for all my mom’s friends, relatives in florida, va, md, colombia…and everywhere….no. my husband’s name is chris woltering and he is not cheating on me :) though i do believe i drive him crazy, and he would possibly trade me in for jessica biel given the opportunity, the man can’t seem to get enough of me still after six years. god bless him.

now….i can see how people may have confused taye diggs with chris my husband.
