when i walked into the hotel room, cen is sitting in a chair with 3 girls surrounding her, her mom and aunt watching, cousin, and future mother-in- law pacing back and forth. the smell of popcorn was in the air….and the girls hovered as they diligently worked on hair + makeup. curling irons, makeup, and brushes completely covered the counter….and cen’s girls just kept laughing and squeeling at their proud work. cen looked so beautiful in fact, that one  of my favorite pictures from this shoot is when she got up to look at herself in the mirror. it was a priceless moment.

this wedding was a little different in a few ways. besides the fact that they planned it in literally ONE month….they actually alloted 4 hours before the ceremony even began to run around dc and vienna to take pictures at various monuments, parks, and whatever we could find. FOUR hours = photography heaven. keep in mind that all this was done while traveling in a vintage 1961 (if i remember correctly) rolls royce :-) not a bad way to start the day!

cen + time. well they are so sweet with each other. just observing from afar you notice that tim is so smitten by cen. the two of them could not have looked happier that day  :-)

thank you  kristi for once again inviting me along on this shoot- it was an awesome way to spend a saturday!
