i love documenting life.
capturing the non-eventful, the routine, the everyday….well i think it’s priceless. because someday…there will be a new routine, a new everyday. and to be able to look back and see how life has changed so slowly but yet so immensely is a constant reminder of the many blessings we are given in life.
meet my friend, bill. he is a new dad.
bill married libby a few years ago. libby is one of the most awesome people i know and marrying libby was the best decision he’s made (because now i get to play with her all the time!). they now have a little baby, greer, and have become their own little family :) and as you can see from the picture below, they couldn’t be happier.
i knew when i shot this session that i didn’t just want it to be all about smiling at the camera and looking perfect. i wanted it to be real. i wanted my images to showcase exactly the place they are in their lives right now. they have a newborn who smiles and is the cutest thing ever. they have a newborn that cries….and is still the cutest thing ever. they are learning to be parents, and i wanted to document their journey for just one day. “A Day In The Life”….
love love love how bill and libby love each other :) (and no i did not make them pose like this- i just paid attention)
bill + libby- love you both and hope you enjoy!!! xo
Hot damn, Astrid. These are fabulous!
thanks tracy timmester!!! xo
Astrid…what a small world. My Kate and Todd from “Family Fun” (above) both had Libby as a teacher. She still remains, years later, the one teacher they both call their “all time favorite teacher”. I hope Libby’s checking out your blog – she might be surprised to see how grown up they have become. They make a beautiful family :)
oh wow!!! that is a small world- libby is such a good friend- i will make sure i pass on the message!
