anticipation of the big day.

i got to spend a weekend in south boston, va  aka  one of the most relaxing places on earth.  i love shooting anything and everything, but it is always that much more special when you are covering such special moments for your own friends. (no pressure, right? :-) )

barry + carolyn could not be a more perfect match. he is loud and crazy, she is laid back and sweet. he loves to put on a show, she is content laughing at him in the background. it has been fun to see these two grow closer over the years, and insane to think that carolyn couldn’t even legally drink when they started dating.  i am pretty sure that fact alone was the center of many innocent jokes for quite some time….haha.

here are some pics from their rehearsal day…. you could literally feel the anticipation everywhere. last minute details getting sorted out, toasts been made, guests arriving from all over. to make it all even more perfect, this all took place at berry hill estates, easily one of the most beautiful venues i have ever seen. this old southern plantation made for the perfect setting for family + friends to laugh, relax, and take home a little bit of southern charm :)

barry + carolyn…your wedding day was simply amazing. i love the two of you to pieces and hope you enjoy this little preview! as for the double title of this post, i provide no information because it is for your friends + family to understand :)
