i am sitting in a dark hotel room, waiting for the husband to wake up and feeling grateful today. that i get to do the job that i do, and live the life that i choose, but mostly to be able to do it all with the person sleeping next to me.

i’m on the road again for another out of town wedding…but this time i took the husband along with me! i already love charlotte, nc and we just got here yesterday. another round of exploring today- we are doing a gallery crawl tonight in the downtown arts district which apparently is very bohemian and has great live music and food. there are even last minute plans in the works to possibly extend the vacation a couple days to venture off to another fun southern city nearby….

in the meantime, i am going to mentally will the husband to wake up so we can get to breakfast. i cannot tell you how excited i am to go to the flying biscuit today. truly one of the best southern breakfast spots i’ve ever been to! i visited the one in atlanta and (according to husband) was abnormally excited when i saw they had one in charlotte.
