signe + kevin had a small intimate ceremony at the beautiful Western Presbyterian Church in DC. the way these two kept sneaking looks to each other throughout the entire ceremony was so sweet and yet so sincere. their kids were their bridal party, and signe’s face radiated as her two boys walked her down the aisle. only about 20 guests were present, each one of them holding a special significance in each of their lives.
after the ceremony, we headed over to the amazing 2941 restaurant where guests were greated with mini porchini mushroom grilled cheese, tuna tartare cones, and mini lox bites. it was the perfect weather on a gorgeous day, and from the toasts to the cake cutting, there were tears, laughter….and more laughter. it was the perfect way to spend an afternoon. everyone relaxed, sipped on their cocktails, and just celebrated the new blended family that signe + kevin have now created.
