For us, it’s the experiences, the travel, the connections, and the iconic fashion of weddings that we love. This blog is our inside edit of all those things and more.

all hallows eve and the beginning of the holiday season.

i spent the last 3 days with the entire Woltering family in town. i did a baby shoot thursday, a wedding friday, hung out with family friday night, big breakfast outing saturday morning, ikea saturday day, sams club shop for a 15 person dinner after that, then actually hosting the 15 person dinner saturday night, woke up sunday and backed up and started on all my files from the weekend, and went right into dinner with the family sunday night, then back to my house to celebrate halloween by watching a terrible scary movie with the family and handing out candy. edited all monday, another baby shoot monday afternoon, then drove to alexandria in rush hour traffic to meet the cutest couple at the cutest bakery in the world. it’s been nothing but go go go since last thursday. and now it’s about 7:30 in the morning and i am sitting on the couch, making my to do list, in pjs, watching The Duggers on tv. aahhhhh…

so now, halloween is over which means it’s the official start of the holiday season! i. cannot. keep. my. excitement. thanksgiving and christmas. holiday parties. tons of sweets. cooking. traveling. cutting down our christmas tree. decorating the house as cheesy as possible. the beginning of a much needed break. i plan on making egg nog this year for the first time. going snowboarding and spending the holidays without ever getting out of pjs is on the list. i sound like i’m 5. but I DON’T CARE.

while i catch up on the last week, i wanted to give you a little preview of my two shoots from thursday and friday- enjoy!

baby analise soaking up the fall sun.

We love Buzz Bakery!!! I wish that I could do work there more often, but it is always so busy and some of the tables are laptop-free. The restaurant across the street, Rustico, is owned by the same people and it is really, really good. Hope to see you soon!
