This DC engagement session at the Washington National Cathedral was every bit as fun as it looks! A lot of brides ask me this question: why do I need an engagement session? Won’t I be getting enough photos on my wedding day? To some couples, engagement photos can be stressful! Lindsey + Peter met me in the heart of Old Town right before sunset to catch some engagement photos with that charm that only Old Town, Alexandria has. One of my favorite things to do is to try and get creative with engagement sessions in DC. I really want to have the session reflect the couple’s personalities, get them comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding, and most importantly we just have so much fun! We did Courtney + Jason’s engagement session in DC at Key Bridge Boat House and it was such a great evening with the most perfect sunset. A few favorites!
Jossy + Kyle had their Georgetown engagement session on this beautiful summer day, and everytime I look at these images I want to relive it over and over. DC engagement sessions in the summer with all it’s lush greenery is simply the best.
