I am SO excited to finally be able to share Kristen + Sean’s DC wedding at Decatur House with Karson Butler Events. We knew shortly after shooting this wedding that it was being considered for publication, and so we weren’t able to share with the public all the beautiful, hard work that went into this wedding. Kristen + Sean are quintessential Washingtonians, living and working in DC, and this wedding perfectly represented them.

Possibly my most favorite detail of the day was Kristen’s grandmother’s vintage wedding etiquette book that was passed down. This treasure included all the steps on how to plan a wedding, and the back of the book had a wedding gift log. While getting ready, we got to see what her grandmother was gifted, and as a good hostess does – complete with a log when a thank you card was mailed!
