when the weather forecasted a hurricane on kara + billy’s wedding day, it was a moment i knew all too well. i have mentioned it before, but i too was a “hurricane bride”. my obx wedding was unpleasantly surprised with Hurricane Hannah in 2008. i was THAT bride that had no back up plan because, really, i was ready to get married in the rain, and anyone who wanted to join was welcome. but hurricane winds- on a beach? not exactly the same thing.

but this story isn’t about me, it’s about a girl named kara + a boy named billy and their dream wedding. i have to say kara is a girl after my own heart- she smiled and had fun the entire time.  nothing was going to stop these two from having the most amazing day. and everything from the details to their their classic punk rock touches were overwhelmingly awesome. and the bridal party? they were ready to kick this hurricane’s ass and have the time of their lives! (and trust me  they did- and not always at the most appropriate times :) ) i am not sure that i have laughed so much or this hard at a wedding before but it was just one of those days were everything came together and was just perfect.
