chris and i have a new roommate that is living with us for a few months- and so far it’s been fun having another girl around! cocktail hours at the house and family dinners. big breakfasts on saturday mornings.

the best part….her wardrobe  :-)

i realized yesterday as i was looking through her closet that i am in desperate need of cute shoes! i was born without the girly gene of needing to buy new shoes every weekend. but now….now i have an entire closet to choose from! this changes everything.

i sit and make plans in my head- BIG plans! i will start wearing hot heals to work, the fun jackets, the flowery tops….maybe even a dress here and there!

i WILL be girly and cute god damnit!

as i am making all these plans in my head, i am pulling on my worn out jeans that are one wash away from being my “worn” jeans to my “holey” jeans. and i throw on my plain white tshirt that i have always believed is hotter than any designer top. just ask my husband if you don’t believe me. add my 5 yr old sneakers to the mix and i’m ready to go!

so yes. i am making big fat pink girly plans to be cute. maybe not yesterday. and today…well today i’m in the same jeans and an OFF WHITE shirt. (don’t judge) but hey- maybe tomorrow??? yes….tomorrow i will take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity. not many girls have a second wardrobe magically show up on your doorstep. so yes….tomorrow…tomorrow is the day. tomorrow i will be a girl  :-)
