it was a destination wedding in england. if you’ve been following the blog, you may recognize these two. they got married last year at the ritz carlton in georgetown. however, sarah never got to celebrate her new life  as a married woman with her family in england. so one year later, it was time to go and introduce her new husband to all her favorite childhood friends and british family with a fantastic celebration at The Plough Inn.

england was breathtakingly beautiful. this wedding was about 5 hrs outside of london in the picturesque countryside of cumbria, england (where sarah grew up). it was so refreshing to go visit this part of england that felt like a hidden gem most people don’t ever get to see. miles of sheep more than you could ever count. cottage houses with so much history.  a different charm from the bustle of london (as well as a heavier accent!) i could go on and on…

every part of this wedding had my heart. from beginning to end, i felt so privilaged to be taken on this journey with sarah + erkan. so here it is, a little preview of a destination wedding anniversary in cumbria, england.
