Hello there! It’s been a while since I’ve done a VIRTUAL COFFEE DATE, so I figured now is as good of time as any to catch up.

If we were sitting down and catching up over coffee, I would most likely be having a Cafe Au Lait. A sweet, creamy, delicious cafe au lait! I am actually having a Blue Bottle Cafe Au Lait  as I’m writing this while on my flight back from San Francisco. PS….in flight wifi is possibly the best thing ever invented.

If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you that I miss New York. It has been way too long since I’ve been, and it truly is one of my favorite places in the whole world. Something about the energy and endless possibilities of that city just do it for me. (Updated to add:: 2 days after I wrote this post, I got an invitation to join Holly Chapple in NYC to cover her Chapple Designer’s Workshop NYC 2015. Love when life works out like that! :)

If we were having coffee this morning, I would also tell you that every time I visit California, I feel more and more pulled to it. Like I could actually see myself living and raising a family here someday. (crazy thought! not anytime soon though :)

I still haven’t gotten over the fact that Parenthood is over.

I would also tell you that some days I feel like I have no idea what I’m doing in this whole motherhood thing. Like it actually feels like I’m faking it. I guess it’s all part of the growing and learning process.

If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you that I’m super excited about the new things ahead for Astrid Photography! Some fun travel, a few great opportunities, and crazy busy and awesome wedding season ahead.
