well, i’m leaving again. this time i am trading in my san antonio cowgirl boots for the bright lights of las vegas. i am attending WPPI this year, which is the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International convention. the biggest photography convention there is, i am so excited to go learn new things, get in some trouble after class, meet some amazing talent from around the world, and attend the fun sponsored after parties! however…. i am “pee in my pants” excited about meeting my favorite photographer in the entire world next week. something i was not sure would ever happen, but indeed it is and you can bet i will be the nerdy girl front and center of his class to soak up all the amazingness he has to offer- and that alone is better than anything i can ask for.

so, i leave you again, but like last time- i will try to blog while i am away! in the meantime, it’s been awhile since i did a FAQ post. i’ve had many people lately have questions about photography and other randomness, so i figure while i am gone is as good a time as any to send them over!

i will be doing a FAQ post when i get back answering any and all questions you may have! i know there are blog readers out there who are silently reading this blog- i know you are there because when i look at my google analytics it tells me how many people visited my blog- so come out from behind the curtains and chat with me! please? be my friend! even if we haven’t talked in years, or seen each other since high school, or even if i have never met you- send me an email! i would love you for it :)

also, thank you for all the birthday wishes- seriously best day ever! had lunch in old town with my favoritest of friends. was given a box of mac n cheese and wine for presents. taken to a cupcake shop for dessert. surprised with Photo Fusion by my parents, which then had money falling out of the pages when i opened it (hello slot machine, have we met?) and ended the night with pizza and wings. passed out next to my husband by 9pm, and i call that one hell of a birthday!! :)
