Nesha + Andres had the most beautiful DC engagement session this year in the midst of the most surreal summer. We all know this year has been more than hard on everyone, but we were able to forget about all of that for a little bit while we walked around downtown, chatting and laughing the day away. We explored our favorite parts of the city and ended their DC engagement session in their very own neighborhood of Chinatown.
Chinatown is one of my favorite places for an urban engagement session in Washington DC! It’s a tremendously popular area with a multitude of things to do and see, all within a few square blocks! With history and charm, and a variety of cultural attractions, including some of the best and most authentic Chinese food you’ll find in the downtown core, the area is the perfect place to get lovey dovey with the love of your life for a classic feeling DC engagement session.
Though the area is small, it’s centrally located just east of downtown DC, next to the entertainment district which features a wide assortment of bars, hotels, restaurants, stores, museums, and parks. I love how walkable downtown is, making every DC engagement session a fun, easy experience for me and for my couples. I loved every second I got to spend with Nesha and Andres on this gorgeous summer afternoon in the city. Their love for each other radiates from their smiles, their laughs, and each sweet word that they spoke to each other on this beautiful day.
These two lovebirds are planning to get married in stunning Cartagena, Colombia next year and I couldn’t be more excited for them!
If you’re keen to spend an afternoon getting pretty photos taken in downtown DC, or anywhere in the Washington DC area, shoot me a message!
