Happy New Years Eve Everyone!
it’s a day to sit back and reflect and enjoy the last day of 2012. incredible how one year can bring about so many changes.
in this last year ::
1- i visited bali-a dream come true.
2- i shot destination weddings in New York, Arizona, Hawaii, and North Carolina.
3- i lived by myself for 14 months after the husband deployed (something i never thought i’d do)
5- i got to visit Alaska with my husband (another dream!) along with New Orleans which was simply the best.
6- i did a “year of the cheeseburger” tour with my cousins. perhaps that will need some explaining in another post… :)
7- husband came home from afghanistan (and we learned to be married again.)
8- i had fun with photography by shooting some film and other fun projects.
9- i got published a few times in Brides, Southern Weddings and other wedding blogs (which never stops being exciting to see your images in print)
10- i continued my love for health and fitness with an awesome boot camp and now some cross fit (which is kicking my butt!)
11- redid the entire house DIY style!
these are just a few random things- and 2013 is already full of some new adventures! i have some exciting projects and business plans for 2013 that i can’t wait to get started on. at the beginning of 2012 I would have never guessed half of the things I listed would have happened, so i guess if there is one thing i’ve learned is that you never know what the future holds.
and i have to say….i kinda like it that way ;)
